The fourth wall / a different kind of exhibition space in Berlin

The “Fourth Wall” art space was established in 2018 by the conceptual artist Norma Drimmer in collaboration with the international Israeli artist and curator Doron Polk. The name “The Fourth Wall” was determined, as a square space with one of its sides, the fourth wall, open and exposed to the public. This term is taken from the theater, where the “fourth wall” is the imaginary and non-existent wall, the wall that reveals what is happening on the stage to the eyes of the spectators.
