Berlin is curse and a blessing at the same time...
On the one hand there are excellent art exhibitions basically outside your door, but also a lot of half-baked, asserted, amateurish. And most of all, there´s too much of it! At times I have to disengage myself from the art business alltogether, in order to concentrate on my artistic work and to stay focused amid constant diversions.Berlin ist für mich Fluch und Segen zugleich...
Einerseits gibt es hier quasi vor der Haustür hervorragende Kunstausstellungen, aber eben auch viel Unausgegorenes, Behauptetes, Dilettantisches. Und von all dem gibt es zu viel!
Ich muss mich phasenweise dem Kunstbetrieb komplett verschließen, um mich auf meine künstlerische Arbeit zu konzentrieren und um vor lauter Ablenkungsmöglichkeiten den eigen Fokus nicht zu verlieren.
